Join Rightway's UX/UI team as a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for our healthcare platforms. You will own and evolve our design system, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and leverage user research to inform design decisions. This impactful role requires 7+ years of UI design experience, expertise in design systems and motion design, and proficiency in design tools like Figma and Zeplin. You will be responsible for designing and implementing UI on projects, leading and evolving design systems, and innovating design paradigms. Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in UI design (consumer-facing mobile/web, and enterprise dashboard/internal tools), with at least 3 years in senior or lead roles where youβve made key UI decisions. A strong portfolio showcasing leadership, innovation, and attention to detail is required
- Proven Experience in Design Systems: You have experience owning and evolving design systems, especially in fast-paced environments
- Expert in Motion Design & UI Components: Skilled in crafting smooth animations, transitions, and interactions that elevate the user experience
- Strong UX Understanding: Ability to collaborate closely with UX researchers and utilize both qualitative and quantitative research to inform design decisions
- Expert proficiency with design tools : like Figma, Zeplin, Storybook, and UXPin, with a deep understanding of how design systems integrate with code (reusable components)
- User Research & Testing: Experience in leveraging user research and conducting validation and usability studies to support great design
- Innovative & Explorative: You challenge conventional design and explore new visual trends to push the boundaries of what's possible in UI
- Collaborative Leader: Strong communication and leadership skills, able to guide design conversations, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Analytical & Empathetic: Strong ability to synthesize research and user feedback into actionable insights, with high empathy for users and co-workers alike
- Lo-Fi UI: In addition to high-fidelity design skills, ability to quickly sketch basic designs/visualizations in real-time during brainstorming sessions
- Experienced Presenter: Skilled in creating compelling presentations and conveying insights through effective storytelling
- Flexible, with the ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems
- High level of empathy; ability to relate to users and co-workers
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities
- Design and implement UI on Projects: Produce sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, and visual design deliverables for external and internal projects. Create high-quality, intuitive, and engaging UI while ensuring all designs are accessible and inclusive, considering or exceeding ADA compliance standards
- Lead & Evolve Design Systems: Own the development and evolution of scalable, cutting-edge design systems across web and mobile platforms. Ensure seamless integration with engineering for consistent, high-quality design implementation
- Innovate & Explore Design Paradigms: Drive innovation by exploring new visual styles, motion design, and interactions that go beyond conventional design libraries and icons
- Collaborate Across Teams: Contribute to product vision and strategic input, ensuring alignment on design goals and product consistency by working closely with UX researchers, product managers, and engineers
- Bridge Design & Engineering: Develop frameworks that connect design patterns to reusable code components, ensuring smooth handoffs between design and development through tools like Figma, Zeplin, Storybook, and UXPin
- Empower Non-Designers: Create accessible systems that enable non-designers, such as engineers, to build basic UI elements while maintaining design quality and consistency
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in usability, human factors, human-computer interaction, visual arts, psychology, or related fields
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus
- Expertise in creating explainer animations that simplify complex concepts and enhance user understanding of products and features
Benefits
SALARY (BEFORE BONUS POTENTIAL): $150,000 - $195,000
