Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in upstream marketing or product management in the medical device industry
  • Strong understanding of medical device regulations, including FDA requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of upstream marketing strategies and plans to drive product development and market expansion
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify unmet needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and develop product roadmap aligned with targeted commercial goals
  • Identify pricing and packaging strategies to optimize operational efficiency and margin while maintaining competitive pricing advantages
  • Drive the development of key marketing deliverables, including market requirements documents, product positioning, messaging, and value propositions
  • Develop and execute product launch plans, including market segmentation, pricing strategy, and go-to-market tactics
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, customers, and strategic partners
  • Monitor and analyze market performance, customer feedback, and competitive activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Develop and maintain commercial materials essential to supporting sales and revenue enablement - e.g. price book, system configuration/compatibility matrix
  • Track and report on financial performance of capital and disposable product lines against KPIs for volume, margin, ASP, etc
