Summary

Join Experian Consumer Services (ECS) as a Senior UX Content Strategist and collaborate with a cross-functional team to create delightful customer experiences. You will work on direct-to-consumer financial products, ensuring content clarity and effectiveness across various channels. Responsibilities include collaborating with designers, researchers, and product managers, mastering internal style guides, and creating performance-driven content. You will also mentor other content designers and contribute to organizational improvements. This role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 4-8 years of experience in content strategy or UX writing. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing strategic decision-making and experience with Figma and generative AI. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in UX design, communications, marketing, or similar field from an accredited four-year university or equivalent experience, certification, or associate's degree accepted with the ability to fulfill job requirements
  • 4–8 years of experience in content strategy or UX writing for digital product design
  • An impressive portfolio showcasing professional UX writing and content strategy work, displaying your approach to strategic decision-making
  • Experience translating internal style guidance, UX best practices, our needs, user insights, legal and compliance requirements, and other factors into clean, efficient content
  • Experience collaborating productively with product designers, UX researchers, and product managers in an Agile environment
  • Connect with your supervisor to seek opportunities for feedback and mentorship
  • Experience navigating multiple rounds or complex feedback from partners, knowing how and when defend content choices
  • Experience collaborating with UX researchers to incorporate user insights into content strategy, ensuring data-informed decision-making in content development
  • High degree of comfort with Figma or equivalent UX design software
  • Experience with LLMs and generative AI, with an ability to create prompts that can improve your workflow

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product designers to co-design experiences, ensuring content is effective, scalable, and compliant, while reflecting best practices and accounting for our requirements
  • You put usability and accessibility at the forefront of your work, with an ability to spot and offer solutions to most issues
  • Master our internal style guide, apply it and escalate when guidance is unclear, incomplete, or at odds with other project requirements
  • Take ownership of content deliverables, ensuring understanding of UX principles, business objectives, and project constraints while collaborating with different teams
  • Create performance-driven content that helps users accomplish their tasks, using data and research insights to iterate and improve experiences
  • Be a mentor and resource for other content designers, promoting collaboration, sharing knowledge, and raising the quality of UX content
  • Influence content best practices, contribute to content system improvements, and lead projects that enhance the role of content across Experian
