Join Commencis as a Senior UX Designer and contribute to the creation of exceptional user experiences for digital products. You will be responsible for making strategic design decisions, conducting user research, identifying design problems, and developing innovative solutions. You will also define the user experience through information architecture, wireframes, and user flows, and create interactive prototypes. Requirements
- An online portfolio demonstrating a passion for digital product development, and experience in diverse content and subject matter
- BA Degree in Design ( e.g. industrial, product, interaction, service design), HCI, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in research and experience design with digital products or services
- A love of collaboration, self-growth, and learning
- Proficiency in research/design tools and software
- A passion to learn and keep up with design and technology trends
- Design experience in mobile platforms, web, and desktop applications
- Strong verbal and visual presentation skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- Make strategic design decisions related to the core or new functions and features
- Participate, facilitate, and conduct research with end users and stakeholders
- Interpret quantitative and qualitative data into meaningful insights
- Identify design problems and invent proper, smart solutions to deliver great user experiences for digital products
- Follow usability, ergonomics, and accessibility acceptances to create design concepts to improve the whole user experience
- Define the user experience design through information architecture, wireframes, and user flows to validate solutions through usability testing
- Articulate hard-to-see aspects of a product’s user experience and communicate through experience maps, user journeys, and conceptual designs
- Create interactive product prototypes
- Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure that all user interface aspects can be delivered correctly by providing information architecture documents, annotated wireframes, and user flows to UI designers and other cross-functional teams
- Develop and maintain the design process to be followed in the product development lifecycle
- Give direction and mentorship to those in need
- Seek design critiques actively to improve the quality of the work produced, and grow with the feedback
- Choose the right communication methods, cadence, and deliverables to convey progress and concerns to internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews with the design team
- Organize and apply human-centered design methods in projects
- Be an active member of a cross-functional team by working harmoniously with project managers, business analysts, developers, designers, and QA engineers
- Establish rapport and trust with clients, working collaboratively to solve business problems based on concrete data, research findings, and domain know-how
- Keep abreast of design standards and best practices
