• Works independently, self-managing priorities and proactively identifying high-value design opportunities
• Able to deliver high-quality UX at pace, handling epic-scale product deliveries without slowing down execution
• Strong decision-making skills, able to balance quick iterations with thoughtful, research-backed design
• Influences and collaborates effectively, ensuring UX is a key driver of product success
• Comfortable facilitating workshops, discussions, and UX alignment with product, engineering, and business teams
• Is able to challenge when required, standing up for design choices while maintaining a practical and thoughtful approach
• Expert in UI/UX design, interaction design, accessibility, and usability best practices
• Experience designing for web and mobile at scale, ensuring consistency and reusability
• Strong grasp of UX research methodologies, using insights to drive improvements

Responsibilities

• Lead UX efforts for high-impact initiatives, ensuring designs are scalable, accessible, and business-aligned
• Own and evolve UX strategy, using data, research, and experimentation to inform product direction
• Advocate for user-centred decision-making, while ensuring UX contributes to business goals and product outcomes
• Deliver fast—working efficiently in a high-velocity, high-stakes environment without sacrificing quality
• Manage UX for epic deliveries, balancing research, iteration, and execution in parallel
• Work across multiple platforms (web, mobile, and new technologies) with a deep understanding of responsive, scalable design
• Operate independently, identifying high-value UX opportunities and acting on them without waiting for direction
• Mentor and support mid-level designers, helping them become more autonomous and capable
• Refine UX processes, ensuring the team operates at peak efficiency and quality
