Senior Video Editor

Summary

KRAFTON is seeking an experienced Freelance Video Editor to produce high-quality video content for their marketing department. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in video editing, storytelling, and be proficient in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro. They should also possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a robust affinity for art, design, games, music, film, and the broader contemporary cultural scene.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a video editor
• Proficient in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or related software
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and composition
• Excellent knowledge of color grading, sound design, and visual effects
• Ability to work collaboratively and take creative direction
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback
• Experience with producing content for various platforms, including social media, web, broadcast and games
• Familiarity with various video formats, codecs, and delivery specifications

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos that tell compelling stories and engage the target audience
• Transform scripts or narratives into engaging visual content by employing smart, story-driven linear and non-linear editing techniques
• Create emotionally driven edits for gameplay and cinematic trailers, putting heart and soul into each edit
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project scope and vision
• Implement creative editing techniques to enhance the visual and auditory impact of videos
• Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and quality standards
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, editing software, and best practices to continuously improve video production quality
• Effectively manage multiple projects at once, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a calm, positive attitude
• Oversee the organization and maintenance of video assets and libraries
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams and handle high-level, fast-paced projects

Preferred Qualifications

Video game editing experience is a huge plus
