Requirements

• Have an empathetic mindset and enjoy collaborating with developers, designers, and product managers of all career levels
• Be keen to lead, mentor, and grow junior engineers
• Be comfortable working with both front-end and back-end systems
• Have experience with building and maintaining scalable, modern, and performant full-stack node applications
• Value testing as a way to ensure a great user experience
• Be proficient in written and spoken English
• Possess an appetite for continually refining and improving the end-user experience as well as the developer experience
• Have excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Build new features for diners to discover restaurants, to drive our product growth, and directly impact business revenue. You'll work with React, GraphQL, TypeScript
• Scale the application and take ownership of the technical improvements/roadmap
• Craft elegant and practical user interfaces for discovering restaurants on our global stage
• Develop experiences for millions of diners and make it easy for them to discover the flawless dining occasions
• Improve yourself and the team by learning new skills and sharing your knowledge with others
• Create a better product by voicing your opinions on how and why we do what we do
• Use data insights and leverage A/B tests heavily to validate our products, allowing us to test and iterate quickly
