Senior Web Engineer

Summary

Spotify is hiring a Web Engineer for their Amplify Ad Formats Team to improve the ad experience for users and advertisers. The role involves cross-functional teamwork, collaboration with other engineering squads, and leading large frontend codebase upgrades. The candidate should have 5+ years of JavaScript development experience and be proficient in React.js, Node.js & GraphQL.

Requirements

• You’re an experienced Javascript developer with 5+ years of working experience
• You are experienced with React.js, Node.js & GraphQL
• You have led the decomposition and upgrading of large frontend codebases to micro frontends

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a cross-functional team within Ad Formats throughout the development stack, solving problems at scale for our users
• Collaborate with engineering squads across Spotify, to support their knowledge and educate them on our portfolio of ad formats
• Promote sound engineering practices, drive work on technical strategy and roadmaps

Preferred Qualifications

Additional tools and technologies such as Next JS, Java, Spring, GCP are a plus
