Summary

Join Keeper Security as a Senior Windows Engineer and contribute to the development and maintenance of our Privileged Access Management platform. This 100% remote position, with hybrid options in El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL, offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies like C++ and Rust. You will design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable code, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the performance and security of our software. Keeper is a rapidly growing cybersecurity company with a global presence, offering a chance to make a significant impact. The role requires extensive experience in Windows development and proficiency in C++. This position is open to US Persons only due to GovCloud involvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Windows development
  • Strong proficiency in C++/C++11/C++17, with fair knowledge of the language specification
  • Understanding of dynamic polymorphism and C++ specific notions, such as friend class
  • Solid understanding of low level Windows APIs, code injection, process hollowing and API hooking
  • Familiar with Socket Programming or Network Communications
  • Knowledge of security practices in coding and principles of encryption
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Due to this role’s involvement in GovCloud, all applicants must be a "US Person"

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
  • Utilize programming languages and technologies such as C++, Rust and Windows APIs
  • Balance multiple concurrent projects with varying priorities
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Conduct code reviews
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure the performance, reliability, and security of developed code
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in software development and security
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation
