Summary
Join HubSpot's team as a Senior Workday Integration Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support integrations and automations across HR applications like Workday, Greenhouse, ServiceNow, Degreed, and Totara. This role demands proactive problem-solving, systems analysis and design skills, and the ability to navigate complexity. Collaboration across teams and driving meaningful change are crucial as HubSpot scales. You will monitor and support integrations, enhance existing ones, conduct system analysis and design, and ideate improvements. The position requires expertise in Workday Studio, APIs, and various integration tools. Mentoring team members and ensuring compliance are also key responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology
- 3+ years of experience in: Systems analysis & design
- 3+ years of experience in: Project management
- 3+ years of experience in: HR/ERP application integration
- 3+ years of experience in: Designing and developing complex, compliant integrations
- 3+ years of experience in: Support and monitoring in SOX/SOC-compliant environments
- 3+ years of experience in: Workday Studio , EIB , CCB , CCW , PECI
- 3+ years of experience in: SOAP , REST , Webhooks
- 3+ years of experience in: XML , XSLT , JSON
- 3+ years of experience in: Programming fundamentals in Java , JavaScript , or Python
- 1+ years of experience in: Workday Extend (developed both apps and orchestrations)
- 1+ years of experience in: AI tools or experimentation with pragmatic use cases
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support integrations; troubleshoot and resolve cases
- Enhance existing integrations for new features and evolving system requirements
- Conduct system analysis and design to improve workflows, processes, and automations
- Ideate, prototype, and advocate for improvements to tools and architecture
- Design, develop, and deploy integrations using: Workday Studio , APIs (REST & SOAP) , EIB outbound , CCB , RaaS , XSLT
- Build custom applications and orchestrations using Workday Extend
- Mentor team members and support knowledge sharing
- Research and adopt new functionality within supported tools
- Ensure all integrations meet SOX , SOC , Legal , and Security compliance requirements
- Test integrations and key reports during Workday upgrades
- Provide prototypes and guidance on Workday APIs for external developers
- Create and maintain technical documentation, support notes, and knowledge base articles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow
- IPaaS tools: Workato, Boomi, Zapier, or Mulesoft
- Past experience with other business-critical systems
- Proactively seeks to understand the βwhyβ and business impact of technical work
- Able to guide teams through ambiguity and complex integration challenges
- Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Advocates for design and process improvements, and proactively mitigates risk
- Leads retrospectives and shares knowledge through documentation and training
Benefits
- Annual Cash Compensation Range: $130,000 β $208,000 USD
- This is a remote-friendly role , with the requirement to be located within 3 hours of EST to ensure time zone alignment with the team
