Summary

Join Genesis Therapeutics as a Senior Product Manager and play a pivotal role in revolutionizing drug discovery. You will be responsible for defining and executing the product roadmap for our internal AI-powered drug discovery platform, Nucleus, and our computational methods research platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams of software engineers, machine learning researchers, and computational chemists. Translate company objectives into actionable product plans, ensuring alignment with user needs and strategic goals. Drive projects from concept to completion, manage stakeholder engagement, and leverage data for informed decision-making. This role requires a strong technical background and proven experience in product management within a scientific or technical environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a technical or scientific environment
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Chemistry; advanced degrees are a plus
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse teams
  • Familiarity with agile development practices

Responsibilities

  • Define, maintain, and communicate the technical and scientific product roadmap in alignment with company goals, ensuring prioritization of impactful projects
  • Facilitate effective collaboration among software engineers, ML researchers, and computational chemistry scientists, acting as a glue to bridge technical and scientific perspectives
  • Translate company objectives into actionable product plans, ensuring alignment with user needs and strategic goals
  • Drive projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables on time and within scope
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, gathering input and communicating progress effectively
  • Leverage data and feedback to make informed decisions and iterate on product features
  • Identify potential risks in product development and proactively implement mitigation strategies
  • Deeply understand user needs, translate workflow complexity into simple and effective product design

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or technology sectors is highly desirable
  • Understanding of machine learning, computational chemistry, or drug discovery processes is a significant advantage
  • UX design skills is an advantage
  • Passionate about innovation, problem-solving, and making a tangible impact on human health
