Summary

The job is for an SEO Consultant at DEPT®. The role involves collaborating with the international team on client projects, performing technical analysis, content-related tasks, outreach activities, data analyses, and using various SEO tools. The ideal candidate should have a degree, 1 to 3 years of SEO experience, be proficient in using SEO tooling, know how to draw up site structures, do keyword research, and use link-building.

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor or Master degree
  • Have at least 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience with SEO, preferably at a digital marketing agency
  • Be experienced with using SEO tooling like Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, MOZ, Semrush etc
  • Know how to draw up site structures, do keyword research and use link-building
  • Have an excellent command of English and Dutch, spoken and written
  • Be analytical, technical, independent and have good communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the international team on multiple client projects
  • Assist the team with determining and executing the SEO strategy
  • Perform technical analysis, identify technical issues, and determine next steps
  • Perform a wide variety of content-related tasks, such as keyword research, content briefings, and content audits (no copywriting)
  • Perform outreach activities or other tasks related to authority building
  • Perform data analyses, advise the client on how to improve their SEO based on your insights, and present the outcomes to the team and client
  • Use a wide variety of SEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, and Screaming Frog in your day-to-day work
