Requirements

• Proven experience in link building and off-page SEO
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
• Excellent research, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to write engaging and informative content
• Proficiency in using SEO tools for backlink analysis and research
• Knowledge of different link building techniques and best practices
• Experience in identifying and addressing low-quality backlinks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective link building strategies aligned with our overall SEO goals
• Conduct in-depth research to identify relevant websites, blogs, and online communities for link building opportunities
• Understand legal and privacy issues related to e-business, such as data protection
• Build and nurture relationships with webmasters, editors, and influencers in our industry
• When implementing links or integrating with third-party services, verify that the domains are not part of any affiliate programs that could violate company policy or create conflicts of interest
• Assist in creating compelling content (guest posts, infographics, etc.) to attract backlinks and engage target audiences
• Explore and leverage various link building tactics, including guest blogging, broken link building, resource link building, and outreach campaigns
• Negotiate link placements and partnerships with other websites
• Monitor backlink performance and identify areas for improvement
• Utilize SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz) to analyze backlink profiles, identify potential link targets, and track progress
• Conduct regular backlink audits to identify and assess the quality of existing backlinks
• Identify and remove or disavow low-quality, spammy, or potentially harmful backlinks that could negatively impact our domain authority
• Stay up-to-date on the latest link building trends, best practices, and search engine algorithm updates
• Collaborate with the Director of SEO and writers to ensure alignment and maximize results
