Join Lamark Media, an integrated digital marketing firm, as their experienced Manager, SEO. This strategic role involves owning end-to-end client SEO campaigns, leading reporting and roadmap creation, and collaborating across channels. You will mentor SEO specialists, onboard clients, perform website and competitor analyses, and implement advanced SEO tactics. The position also includes developing client reports, participating in meetings, and working with creative and development teams. Furthermore, you will assist in upselling and pitching SEO services, advocating for best practices, and staying updated on algorithm changes and SEO tools. This role requires a strong background in SEO and a proven ability to manage multiple clients.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in an SEO-focused role
- SEO Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of current SEO practices, including technical, on-page, off-page, and local
- Goal-oriented Strategic Thinker: Demonstrated skills in planning SEO roadmaps to achieve desired outcomes
- Multi-client Management: Ability to think strategically for a portfolio of clients
- Analytics & Reporting : Experience using analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs to track, report, and optimize campaigns
- Working in an agency or a fast-paced digital environment required
- Remote Work Experience : A history of successfully managing priorities in a remote setting through team collaboration tools
Responsibilities
- Create strategic roadmaps to improve website visibility and grow qualified traffic
- Work closely with (and serve as a mentor to) SEO Specialists to bring roadmaps to life, implement strategic initiatives, and reach client goals
- Participate in onboarding and goal setting with clients
- Perform website and competitor analysis using various SEO tools
- Perform hands-on implementation of advanced SEO tactics and strategies
- Provide thorough direction to team members to accomplish SEO activities
- Develop insights for high-tier client reports and attend client reporting and strategy meetings
- Participate in team meetings and workshops
- QA deliverables and reports for SEO Specialists working on your client portfolio
- Work with Creative and Development teams to implement SEO and UX best practices
- Assist in upselling projects to existing clients and pitching SEO to prospective clients
- Advocate for SEO and Content Marketing Best Practices
- Analyze data from analytics tools, Search Console, crawling tools, and more
- Keep abreast of the latest algorithm changes, SEO tools and techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- Pod Participation: Experience working within small groups with shared clients
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Experience working with development, performance, and creative teams to develop and execute integrated campaigns
- AI & Automation Knowledge: Understanding of how to utilize AI and/or automation to improve workflows. Ability to request or recommend tools to increase efficiency
- Presentation & Communication Skills : Strong ability to present ideas, strategies, and performance results to clients in a clear and persuasive manner
- Productivity Tool Experience : Experience in using Microsoft Outlook, Slack, Box.com, or Adobe Workfront is a plus
