SEO Outreach Specialist

Summary

Join Canva's International SEO team as an SEO Outreach Specialist for a 12-month contract, focusing on Brazil. You will be responsible for building high-quality backlinks to improve SEO performance of key landing pages. Work closely with the Brazil SEO Country Lead and Global Outreach lead to set targets, identify link-building tactics, and execute outreach. This role requires fluency in Portuguese and business-level English, along with marketing experience. Canva uses a white-hat approach to link building, providing a playbook and opportunities for collaboration. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility.

Requirements

• You are a fluent Portuguese speaker with business-level English
• You are a positive, enthusiastic 'people person' with good written communication skills
• You have some experience working in a marketing-related field such as sales, PR, media or SEO
• We're a large team that relies on tried-and-tested processes to execute tasks quickly and efficiently. As such, this role will suit someone with high attention to detail and the ability to closely follow detailed written instructions

Responsibilities

• Work with the SEO Country Lead (and Global Outreach lead) to identify landing pages that would benefit from backlinks on our Brazil-focused SEO Pages and agree on targets for each campaign
• For each campaign, you'll identify a list of backlink prospects, following Canva's tried-and-tested outreach playbook
• You'll write and send quality outreach emails, tailored to the specific campaign and the prospect receiving the email
• You'll actively develop and maintain relationships with website owners, building an address book of contacts who can be leveraged for future campaigns
• You will maintain reporting spreadsheets to keep track of progress towards goals, and be responsible for communicating with your SEO Country Lead (and Global Outreach lead) if you are not on track to reach goals
• You will support the continual improvement of the global outreach strategy by sharing learnings and insights with the wider outreach team
