Summary
Join ShiftCare, a leading Australian company transforming care management, as their SEO Specialist! This remote role involves developing and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy across Australia, the US, and Canada. You will manage a significant budget for backlink acquisition, optimize website content, conduct keyword research, and report on performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to success. The ideal candidate possesses at least 7 years of SEO experience in a SaaS or technology environment and a proven track record of driving organic growth.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in SEO, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment
- Proven track record of improving organic search performance and driving growth
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
- Proficient in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar
- Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., GA4)
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., Statamic) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge
- Excellent analytical skills and data-driven mindset
Responsibilities
- Brief up to 15 blog posts per month based on competitor analysis and SEO insights across three regions (Australia, US, and Canada)
- Develop and brief topics for eBooks and white papers for our team of writers to execute
- Develop and maintain comparison landing pages targeting industry competitors
- Own backlink acquisition strategy, managing a budget of approx. $5000 p/m
- Ensure the website is fully optimised for best practice SEO, including on-page and technical SEO
- Align website content strategically with target keywords, managing and updating the list of target keywords
- Conduct regular site audits to identify and fix SEO issues such as broken links, duplicate content, and site speed problems
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to inform content strategy and facilitate paid search campaign optimisations
- Monitor keyword rankings and adjust strategies to improve organic visibility
- Own and manage SEO reporting for all three regions, providing insights and recommendations based on performance data
- Utilise tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO platforms to track and report on KPIs
- Work closely with the Content, Design, and Development teams to implement SEO best practices
- Coordinate with the paid search team to align organic and paid strategies
- Implement new SEO strategies and tactics as appropriate
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the disability, aged care, or healthcare sectors
- Knowledge of the NDIS industry
- Experience working across international markets
