Summary

Join MaintainX, a leading Asset and Work Intelligence platform, as a SEO Specialist and play a key role in developing and implementing SEO strategies to boost organic visibility and conversions. Collaborate with various teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all initiatives. This remote role (Canada or USA) reports to the SEO Manager and is a key part of the Demand Generation team. You will conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and site audits, optimize on-page elements, manage technical SEO initiatives, and monitor performance using various SEO tools. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of SEO experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in SEO tools and technologies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in an in-house role at a fast-growing B2B SaaS company or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Keyword insights, and Surfer SEO
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, MarketMuse) to enhance SEO workflows, content creation, or performance analysis
  • Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven SEO recommendations
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO
  • Experience with structured data implementation and Core Web Vitals optimization
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and content creators

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve search rankings and organic traffic
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and site audits to identify growth opportunities
  • Experiment and optimize AI-driven content optimization workflows (e.g., Surfer SEO, MarketMuse) to improve content performance and SEO efficiency
  • Optimize on-page elements, including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and content structure, for SEO effectiveness
  • Work closely with content teams to create and optimize high-quality, search-friendly content
  • Manage technical SEO initiatives, including crawlability, indexability, structured data, and site performance improvements
  • Collaborate with developers to implement SEO-friendly site architecture, redirects, and schema markup
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Surfer SEO)
  • Stay updated on search engine algorithms, industry trends, and best practices to keep our SEO strategy ahead of the curve
  • Support the development and execution of link-building and digital PR strategies alongside our content and marketing teams to enhance domain authority
