Service Attendant - Dual Role

Summary

Join us for a chance to get your start in a lucrative industry as a Service Attendant with Sodexo, working on a Drive-In-Drive-Out roster in the Mackay Region, North QLD. We're looking for customer service-oriented people with cleaning or hospitality experience, or an alternate transferrable skill set.

Requirements

• Ability to work 10-12-hour shifts, day or night shifts as required
• Enduring a remote environment in extreme heat or weather conditions
• Multi-tasking and assisting in other areas/departments with a positive teamwork approach
• Solid understanding of the requirements of safe work and safety protocols
• Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical
• Australian working rights and drivers license is essential

Responsibilities

• Working across a range of functions to support operational needs
• Housekeeping/Cleaning accommodation rooms aka: “dongas”
• Assisting in the Kitchen and Dining Room service areas
• Mine Site Cleaning of Offices, Crib rooms and Ablution Blocks
• Providing customer service in the Tavern or Retail shop
• Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas and grounds
