Join ALTEN Technology USA, a leading engineering company, as a 100% remote ServiceNow Technical Solutions Architect. You will implement and integrate ServiceNow solutions, serve as a subject matter expert, and contribute to the IT roadmap. Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience developing ServiceNow applications as a Technical solutions Architect
- Strong hands-on coding skills
- Document Architecture and design for new solutions and provide recommendations for Architecture best practices
- Strong ServiceNow technical breadth and depth spanning various modules including Employee Center, Service Portal, Virtual Agent and Now Mobile
- Expert level skills in JavaScript, Angular, XML, JSON & CSS Expertise building custom spokes, data streams, business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Scripts, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Policies, etc
- Service Portal & API development including REST & MID Server integrations
- Ability to develop and re-engineer existing processes and build appropriate ServiceNow workflows
- Bachelors degree or higher required; Advance degree in IT related field or extensive experience in ServiceNow development and Implementation
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect
Responsibilities
- Implement ServiceNow platform and cross-platform integration solutions based on ServiceNow best practices while maintaining out of the box (OOTB) upgradeability
- Partner cross functionally with other business application owners to ensure our business automation and data management processes are smooth and well connected
- Serve as a lead subject matter expert and champion in driving the industry best practices for evolution of the companyβs ServiceNow instance and integrated tools
- Provide input into the IT Roadmap, including the ServiceNow rollout, implementation of new modules, and major upgrades
- Lead discussions and investigations regarding new ServiceNow features and functionality, contribute to recommendations for process improvements and keep application users informed about system functionality and enhancements
- Lead ServiceNow platform upgrade, clone, and maintenance processes
- Responsible for designing and implementing enterprise IT projects in ServiceNow
- Gather requirements from business users
- Work with technical leads to transform and develop ServiceNow solutions
- Serve as a primary liaison between the business stakeholders and IT
- Manage change process for all new changes on the platform
- Define and document user interfaces, support systems and data requirements
- Develop functional specifications and system design specifications
Preferred Qualifications
Familiar with newer product features in ServiceNow including App Engine Studio, Git, App Engine Management Center, Integration Hub, and Flow Designer
