Join LightFeather as a passionate and mission-driven ServiceNow Developer in our Washington, DC team. You will design, configure, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications, provide architectural input, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This is a full-time, remote position requiring US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Requirements
- Possess US Citizenship
- Possess or be able to obtain a Secret/Top Secret clearance
- Have experience in developing ServiceNow applications: 1-2 years for Junior Level, 3-4 years for Mid Level, and 5+ years for Senior Level
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the ServiceNow suite, including Service Catalog, Service Portal, Reports, Incident Management, and Knowledge Base
- Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Have proven development experience outside the ServiceNow platform, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Show familiarity with IT Service Management, Asset and Configuration Management, ITIL/ITSM, and PMP/PRINCE2 practices
- Have hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project teamwork
- Demonstrate knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including requirements translation, solution design, implementation, and enterprise monitoring
- Show proficiency in handling large datasets and performing data analysis/modeling to support decision-making
Responsibilities
- Work independently and as part of a technical team in a multi-instance, multi-domain environment
- Utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage development projects
- Provide expert guidance to functional and administrative teams on ServiceNow design, development, and best practices
- Collaborate with business, systems, and technology partners to define and document requirements
- Develop and implement solutions for requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications
- Write scripts for Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, and more
- Facilitate the rollout of new applications and enhancements on the ServiceNow platform
- Analyze system performance and implement performance improvements as needed
