Summary

Join Pingwind as a ServiceNow Developer to support the Enterprise Architecture organization at the VA. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of a modernized application replacing a legacy system. This remote position requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with ServiceNow development using various technologies (JavaScript, Jelly, Web Services, MYSQL, XML, HTML, and CSS), and a passion for process improvement. Responsibilities include configuring workflows, integrating with third-party systems, and providing input on technical documentation. Responsibilities

• Develops ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, Web Services, MYSQL, XML, HTML and CSS
• Configuration Management (CMDB)
• Analyze system performance issues and determine performance enhancements
• Administration of Knowledge Base and Service Catalog
• Configure out-of-the-box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows
• Configure application related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles and access controls
• Integrate ServiceNow application(s) with third party systems/applications via APIs
• Provides input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals
• Make technical recommendations for development in ServiceNow based on an understanding of functionality and data that is available in ServiceNow
