Summary
Join CoreSphere as a ServiceNow Technical Consultant (TC) / System Administrator (SA) to lead development on a FedRAMP-certified ServiceNow solution for a large US Federal agency. You will support agile O&M development, collaborating with BPCs and SMEs, and working with other TCs to orchestrate solutions. Responsibilities include contributing to roadmaps, backlogs, and release plans; validating requirements; documenting user stories; resolving bugs; developing enhancements; testing; deploying; and supporting post-production activities. This role requires extensive ServiceNow experience, including multiple suites (ITSM, WSD, HRSD), and strong development skills in JavaScript and other technologies. Success in this position demands excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. The ideal candidate will possess relevant certifications and a strong background in ITIL practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or IT related discipline
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- 12 years of professional IT experience, including 3-5 years ServiceNow technical development experience with projects of similar size, scope, and complexity
- 3-5 years of experience supporting in a large IT organization, working with SaaS based applications
- Certified ServiceNow Certified Application Developer OR
- IT Service Management Implementation Specialist within the last 3 years; OR
- Certified Implementation Specialist in HRSD within the last 3 years; OR
- Certified Implementation Specialist in Risk and Compliance within the last 3 years; AND
- 2 years of experience supporting a production instance in any application suite; AND
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- 3+ years of experience programming JavaScript
- Experience with Advanced custom ServiceNow scripts including: user interface actions; user interface policies; access control lists; client scripts; scheduled jobs; data tables and fields, and REST APIs.; Within the any ServiceNow element: platform, product suites, products, and modules
- Designing, configuring and customizing web applications
- Experience and/or certification with ITIL practices and O&M support processes
- Experience implementing and supporting systems using hybrid Waterfall and Agile/Scrum and/or ITIL methodology
- Must be a US Citizen and authorized to work in the United States; must be able to pass a federal government background check
Responsibilities
- Serve as the ServiceNow Lead Developer supporting an existing ServiceNow FedRAMP certified hosted solution for a large US Federal agency
- Support agile O&M development activities using best practices including collaborating with Business Process Consultants (BPCs) and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and working with ServiceNow Technical Consultants to orchestrate solutions
- Review, lead, and/or contribute to with solution roadmaps, backlogs, release plans, requirements validation, user story grooming, user stories documentation, bug fix analysis/resolution, enhancements, estimations, development, documenting, configuring applications, developing designs and prototypes, developing demos, unit testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Performance Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, managing deployments, and supporting post-production activities of ServiceNow solutions
- Support any new solutions that are deployed to the Production environment and coordinating periodic refreshes of sub-prod environments from Production
- Successfully manage customer expectations and ensure the O&M tasks are estimated and performed on-time and on-budget with high-levels of customer satisfaction and quality
- Collaborate and support the client Project Manager, BPCs, developers, and client management and SMEs
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related IT discipline
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in any of the application suites listed above
- Experience developing, testing, and deploying ServiceNow AppDev custom applications and COTS applications
- ITIL v3 Foundation certification
- JAVA Object-Oriented Programming Experience
- Experience with managing patches, releases, and platform upgrades
- Experience coding with JSP
- Experience programming using REST or SOAP API's
- Experience creating, updating, and managing changes to Service Catalogs and Knowledge Base
- Experience with data integration
- Experience with a scripting language, such as Perl or Python
- Experience development SOAP and REST web API's
- Experience integrating with LDAP
- Experience configuring and developing on Service-now.com platform and report writing
- Working knowledge and experience with the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery Languages, SQL Languages
- Ability to design, build, configure, develop, test, and deploy solutions directly from requirements and/or high-level designs
- Experience building Automated Testing in ServiceNow
- Ability to write, understand, optimize, and build Test Classes, Move code to Production Environments
- Consulting experience
