ServiceNow Developer and Administrator

Summary

Join our client in the southern suburbs of Minneapolis, MN for a 3+ month contract opportunity as a ServiceNow Consultant. This hybrid role requires on-site attendance Tuesdays and Thursdays. The position focuses on leading the initial phases of ServiceNow implementation, including setup, configuration, and defining the scope of work for short- and long-term goals. You will manage core ITSM implementation and FreshService migration, providing strategic guidance on ServiceNow capabilities. This high-impact, short-term opportunity may evolve into a longer engagement. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship; fractional resources are considered.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead initial ServiceNow setup and configuration
• Define and establish a clear scope of work for short- and long-term goals
• Lead and manage core ITSM implementation and FreshService migration
• Provide strategic guidance on ServiceNow capabilities and roadmap
• Drive early integrations and coordinate with internal teams
• Prepare organization for future ServiceNow-related initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing ServiceNow, especially ITSM
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and defining structure
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable to shifting priorities
• Consulting experience preferred, particularly in short-term, high-ownership roles
