Requirements

  • Proven experience working with the following social media platforms: TikTok and Instagram
  • Basic graphic design and short-form video editing skills (Canva, Capcut, or similar tools)
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Portfolio of best performing short-form videos edited/created with analytics is required

Responsibilities

  • Edit and repurpose videos for TikTok and Instagram, ensuring all posts are optimized for platform requirements and published on schedule in line with the social media calendar
  • Track key metrics, compile performance reports, and assist in A/B testing to refine content strategies and boost engagement
  • Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to propose innovative content ideas and maintain a competitive edge
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure video content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging while taking initiative to manage tasks independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with multiple brands
  • Basic understanding of Social Media Marketing
  • Understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Instagram Insights, Meta Insights, TikTok Business Suite, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) for organization and collaboration
  • Knowledge of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices. Experience with social media tools like Later is a plus
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and able to multitask. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
