Site Reliability Engineer

Summary

Join Algolia's AI Platform team and contribute to building core components that accelerate AI delivery. You will implement, maintain, and improve the infrastructure powering the platform, ensuring reliability and performance across cloud providers. This role requires hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines. Ideal candidates possess programming skills in Go or Python and familiarity with incident response. Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production environments
• Experience with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Experience with automation and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform)
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog)
• A problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to improving system reliability
• Excellent spoken and written English skills

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and improve the infrastructure that powers the AI Platform
• Ensure the reliability and performance of Kubernetes-based deployments across cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Enhance monitoring, observability, and alerting systems
• Contribute to incident response and post-mortem analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Programming skills in Go and/or Python
• Exposure to incident response and on-call best practices
