Junior Site Reliability Engineer

Summary

Join Algolia's AI Platform team and contribute to building core components that accelerate AI delivery. You will be a key contributor to implementing and maintaining the infrastructure powering the platform, supporting Kubernetes deployments, and developing infrastructure as code. The ideal candidate possesses experience with Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools. A passion for reliability, scalability, and automation is essential. Requirements

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production environments
• A passion for automation and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog)
• A strong desire to learn and grow in the field of Site Reliability Engineering
• Excellent spoken and written English skills

Responsibilities

• Be a key contributor to implement, and maintain the infrastructure that powers the AI Platform
• Support Kubernetes-based deployments across cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of infrastructure as code
• Monitor and improve system reliability, scalability, and performance

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Programming skills in Go and/or Python
• Exposure to incident response and on-call practices
