Summary
Join Boomi's Sales Engineering team as a SLED Sales Engineer and provide pre-sales technical support to field sales teams. Collaborate with account executives to understand customer needs and design solutions using Boomi's integration platform. Prepare detailed product specifications and deliver impactful presentations. Discuss product capabilities with technical users and business stakeholders, verifying operability within the prospect's environment. Coordinate internal specialists to build a "win team" for prospective customers and support RFI/RFP completion. Verify operability of sophisticated product configurations and perform advanced systems integration. This remote-friendly position offers On Target Earnings (OTE) of $140K-$175K.
Requirements
- Excellent communication, relationship, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Experience and familiarity with the SLED/Public Sector space
- Understanding of State and Local architecture as well as regulations and security guidelines
- Ability to present to the executive level and articulate the Boomi solutions
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally to support enterprise customers
- In-depth understanding of the enterprise integration market, technologies, products, and services
- 4+ years of related experience in a Public Sector/SLED selling role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with SLED Account Executives to help determine the SLED/Public Sector customer’s needs, understand the technical landscape, and identify pain points via discovery calls
- Assess and present the potential solutions of company products and services, using technical competency and creativity to design business solutions that encompass the breadth of the Boomi portfolio
- Prepare detailed product specifications and deliver impactful presentations to enable the sale of our products and solutions
- Discuss product capabilities and applications with technical users/buyers, and business stakeholders, verifying the operability of product and service configuration within the prospect's environment via Demos or Proof of Concept
- Coordinate internal specialists and other necessary Boomi employees to help build the “win team” for prospective customers
- Support RFI/RFP completion by answering in-scope technical questions for prospective SLED customers
- Verify operability of sophisticated product and service configurations within the customer’s environment
- Perform advanced systems integration and provide technical expertise to design the solution
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with complementary technologies (e.g., API management, MDM, AI, ELT, and Data Analytics)
Benefits
- On Target Earnings (OTE) for this role are $140K - $175K (inclusive of commission)
