Summary

The Social Media Intern at Hydrow will support content creation, platform management, and other social media duties across various platforms. The ideal candidate has experience in a media environment, proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Capcut, Canva, Google Suite, etc., and strong organizational skills.

Requirements

• 1-2 years working in a media environment, creating and managing content
• Proven ability to develop engaging multimedia content, including text, images, and videos for public distribution
• Strong copywriter and editor (especially short-form, social-media friendly)
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Capcut, Canva, Google Suite, etc
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills; you meet deadlines and produce quality work
• Familiar with social and digital platform trends and nuances
• Understanding of social media performance metrics and ability to analyze and report on findings
• Knack for storytelling and up-to-date with pop culture, social/internet trends, and general news
• Comfortable supporting occasional night and weekend coverage
• Ability to capture on-site content at Hydrow HQ in Boston as well as on-location at production sites in the Boston area

Responsibilities

• Support and assist development of content for the Hydrow brand's social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok)
• Generate copy, capture still and video footage, brainstorm ideas, edit video content and produce other visual content
• Assist with group moderation, engagement and communication within the Hydrow Training Camp Facebook Group
• Support publishing to platforms such as Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, while maintaining best practices
• Participate in daily social listening
• Pitch new concepts and ideas for execution based on current trends and other content ideas
• Analyze and report platform engagement metrics
