Summary

Join Shapermint and Truekind as their Social Media Community Manager and cultivate a thriving community across their social media channels. You will be the voice of the brands, delighting the audience, strengthening brand trust, and building lasting loyalty. Key responsibilities include boosting community engagement, fueling business growth, and elevating brand love. You will proactively monitor and engage in Reddit conversations to address brand concerns and rebuild trust. The role requires strategic community building, tactical execution and innovation, and collaboration with the Social Media team. Success will be measured by increased engagement, revenue generation, and strengthened brand perception.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in social media strategy and community management for fast-paced apparel or retail brands (mandatory)
  • Exceptional written English skills, with a native or near-native level, and the ability to craft engaging, brand-aligned copy across channels
  • Doer mindset with strong executional discipline —comfortable rolling up sleeves, managing details, and consistently delivering on time
  • Highly organized and efficient, with strong time management, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to prioritize high-impact initiatives
  • Creative and data-driven, combining fresh, innovative community ideas with insights from analytics, benchmarks, and trend research
  • Strong team player, proactive in communication, calm under pressure, and adaptable to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute innovative community engagement strategies to drive interactions, impressions, and revenue across social media channels
  • Leverage social listening tools to stay ahead of trends, gauge brand sentiment, and deeply understand the needs and language of our target audience
  • Propose and lead community-building initiatives, including partnerships with influencers and strategic engagement with niche community accounts
  • Amplify brand visibility by actively engaging not only on our posts but also on relevant social content across the industry, establishing Shapermint and Truekind as reference brands
  • Continuously iterate on community management tactics based on real-time data and performance insights to meet growth and engagement KPIs
  • Guide content ideation with audience insights and trend analysis, helping shape social calendars that resonate with our community’s interests and mindset
  • Implement and optimize automation tools like ManyChat to scale comment-to-DM workflows that drive organic reach and direct sales
  • Monitor and refine automation performance by tracking clicks, engagement, and conversion rates to maximize results
  • Maintain a strategic Reddit presence to manage brand perception, address misinformation, and nurture trust through authentic dialogue
  • Spot and analyze trends weekly to ensure content relevance and fuel creative ideation
  • Engage daily with our followers and other accounts to deepen connections, spark conversations, and foster loyalty
  • Set up and manage chatbot automations to enable seamless, high-converting social selling experiences (e.g., “Comment ‘DISCOUNT’ to get a promo!)
  • Craft compelling CTAs and responses that reflect Shapermint’s confident and supportive voice, encouraging community interaction and click-throughs
  • Monitor conversion data from automated DMs to continuously improve messaging and strategy
  • Support content creation with weekly briefs, creative suggestions, storyboards, and insight-based recommendations to grow community engagement
  • Contribute copywriting for captions, comment replies, and community posts that build emotional resonance with our +35 female audience
  • Explore and test AI tools to streamline content ideation and boost creative output
  • Execute daily tasks in community management with discipline and agility, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Strategist to validate that all content aligns with what our audience genuinely cares about
  • Analyze data weekly to refine community strategies and share actionable insights with the broader team
  • Document meetings, update Asana tasks, and proactively share project updates and milestones
  • Contribute to presentations and reports with social media insights that support decision-making
  • Define and track OKRs tied to community engagement and influence key initiatives for upcoming launches and campaigns
  • Plan and execute engagement strategies for product launches, special sales, and brand activations
  • Hold weekly syncs with the Social Media Manager and Strategist to review progress, address blockers, and align on priorities
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest algorithm shifts, platform updates, and community growth hacks to continually elevate our strategy
