Social Media Intern

Summary

Join Torc Robotics' dynamic External Communications team as a Social Media Intern for Spring 2025. This internship offers the opportunity to streamline communication tools, create engaging content, collaborate with various teams, and analyze performance metrics within the autonomous vehicle technology industry. You will support forensic digital research, craft messages for diverse audiences, and participate in reporting. The role requires undergraduate enrollment and strong communication and collaboration skills. The internship is for up to 20 hours per week and can be based in Blacksburg, VA or remotely. Previous marketing/communications experience and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite are beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support forensic digital research and documentation
• Support the creation of communication materials to foster an informed and engaged community
• Collaborate with various teams to gather information and craft messages that resonate with different audiences
• Participate in reporting, performance metrics, and content analytics
• Research autonomous technology & competitors
• Attend weekly meetings
• Work up to 20 hours/week
• Write a weekly report
• Balance classes & internship

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design skills
• Experience writing for publication
• Familiarity with performance analytics and reporting
