• Proficient in both Swahili and English, with strong written and verbal communication
• Familiarity with the sports landscapes in Nigeria and Tanzania, particularly popular sports like football and basketball
• Skilled in content creation tools, video editing software, and content management systems
• Analytical skills to interpret data and refine content strategy

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a content strategy for the Tanzanian and Nigerian markets that aligns with Sporty Group’s goals
• Produce, edit, and manage content in Swahili, including articles, videos, social media posts, and multimedia assets tailored for sports fans
• Manage content distribution across social media, websites, newsletters, and other digital platforms
• Track trends in Tanzanian and Nigerian sports industries, monitor competitors, and analyze audience preferences to create relevant content
• Coordinate with marketing, social media, and design teams for cohesive messaging and delivery
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to guide content optimization
• Interact with the audience on social media to foster an engaging and active community
• Manage content budgets, ensuring high-quality production within cost constraints
