Responsibilities

  • Manage a set of client cases from start to finish
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients from initial application to reconsideration process, and assist with appeal and hearing level cases
  • Conduct initial interviews with potential clients to determine eligibility for Social Security Disability benefits
  • Explain the Social Security Disability process and set expectations for timeline and required medical documentation
  • Collect detailed medical records, work history, and other supporting documentation from clients
  • Understand and analyze medical evidence to build a strong case for disability approval
  • Prepare and submit thorough disability applications to the Social Security Administration
  • Build rapport with our clients through regular follow-ups on application status and responding to requests for additional information
  • Collaborate with doctors, healthcare providers, vocational experts, and others involved in the disability case
  • Clearly explain decisions and next steps to clients throughout the process
  • Maintain detailed records of all client interactions, applications, denials, appeals, etc
