Summary

The job is an internship for a Software Developer, Network/Payload Software position at Astranis for Summer 2024. The internship is based in San Francisco and offers a base pay of $29 per hour.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Aerospace or equivalent technical degree
• Experience with C++, Python and scripting language(s)
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch
• US Citizenship or Green Card
• Must be onsite in San Francisco 3 days a week minimum

Responsibilities

• Work with the engineering team to design, write and test software (software running on satellites, ground control and testing software)
• Develop Software to manage the performance of the satellite from the Ground Stations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RF and Signal processing
• Experience with real time operating systems

Base pay for this position is $29 per hour
