Summary

Mindtickle is seeking a SDET-I with 2+ years of experience in cloud-native SaaS products to develop test automation for their Enterprise SaaS platform. The role involves understanding the product, developing test automation at the API layer, and ensuring high quality releases.

Requirements

• Are an engineer with 2+ years of work experience, with at least 1 year experience working on cloud-native SaaS platform/product
• Are hands-on experience in developing test automation at the API layer
• Are using cloud-based observability and monitoring tools like Data dog, and Sumo logic to identify the root cause of issues across the application layers
• Are using testing concepts and experience in Test case designing, Test execution, and effective reporting of defects with all supporting information, logs, and findings in the first go
• Are familiar with Programming and Automation: OOPs concepts, Data structures, Algorithms, Automation design patterns
• Are working with Java/Python/Golang and have the ability to write clean and modular code, develop test harness/tools
• Are experienced in enterprise test development frameworks such as TestNG / PyTest / JBehave / MsTest

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong functional and architectural understanding of the feature/product
• Execute defined test strategy for validating functional and non-functional requirements
• Design, develop and maintain high quality, stable and reliable test automation
• Ensure high quality release by applying quality engineering practices - impact analysis, shift left
• Demonstrate customer advocacy by identifying and tracking defects to closure by monitoring test executions and customer interactions
