Summary

Venteur is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to join their team and help drive the delivery of products and applications impacting thousands of individuals' health insurance needs. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing end-to-end experiences, architecting efficient systems, and continuously improving system efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong technical background, including 3+ years of experience building impactful products at scale
• Both front-end and back-end experience coupled with anything it takes to solve problems and delight users both internally and externally
• Commitment to high-quality code that is tested thoroughly, supported by clear documentation, and has appropriate production observability
• High degree of empathy for both internal and external customers
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills that allow you to work effectively on a remote team
• Strong computer science fundamentals and knowledge of data structures, OOP, algorithms, distributed systems, and information retrieval

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical, operational, and business requirements for our platform
• Design and build end-to-end experiences for the Venteur platform, focusing on usability, scalability, and performance
• Architect efficient and scalable systems to meet customer demand and enhance user experiences
• Work closely with designers, engineers, operations, and customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that exceed expectations
• Continuously analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of our systems
