Remote Software Engineer

Summary

Join our newly established team as a Software Engineer to build a new product from the ground up, focusing on distributed systems and scalable APIs. You will play a pivotal role in building innovative solutions for customers' complex search experiences.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with programming languages and are comfortable writing, debugging, and optimizing code
• Solid foundation in Computer Science (data structures, algorithms, software design)
• Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices
• Professional spoken and written English skills

Responsibilities

• Be a key contributor to the design and development of the Algolia API
• Be responsible of the quality, soundness of the system
• Work with other teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve high impact issues
• Be responsible for operations for Algolia Search including participation in out-of-hours on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Go
• Experience in Kubernetes
