Software Engineer

Summary

Join Allego, a company providing reliable charging solutions, as a skilled Full-stack IoT Engineer. You will design and implement new IoT solutions to manage and monitor charging sites, focusing on smart charging functionalities. Develop and maintain services, ensuring high quality through internal processes and best practices. The IoT Team works using Scrum methodology, with remote or in-office work options in Paris or Arnhem. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field and several years of experience as a Linux application developer. Requirements

• Have a Bachelor or a Master Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Have several years of experience as a Linux application developer
• Use test development, review and peer programming to ensure the quality of your code
• Work both independently and in a team environment
• Be a team player and have strong communication skills
• Thrive for quality and have a genuine interest about the final end-user experience
• Be fluent in English (French, Dutch, and/or French German are a plus)
• Be located in Europe and eligible to work in Europe

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new IoT solutions to manage and monitor charging sites with key functionalities such as smart charging
• Develop and maintain our services and ensure the highest level of quality by applying our internal processes, tools, and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Have good hands-on experience with Rust
• Have experience with Yocto
• Have worked in a Scrum environment
• Have experience in the following fields: embedded cyber-security, network configuration, electronics, cloud environments as Azure, OCPP protocol
