Software Engineer

Summary

Join BigID, a leading data security and privacy tech startup, as a Software Engineer in our Professional Services organization. You will be a key member of the team, designing and writing high-quality code, solving complex challenges for major enterprise clients, and driving technological and architectural decisions. This role requires a BS in Computer Science (or related field) and at least 3 years of experience with Java and Spring, along with experience in distributed architecture and various database technologies. Requirements

• BS in Computer science (or other relevant degrees), and at least 3 years of experience
• 3+ years of experience with Java + Spring
• Experience in developing logical solutions to complex challenges
• Experience with distributed architecture, micro-services, message queues, REST API
• Experience with Relational Databases, NoSQL and BigData Technologies
• Team player, willing to work in a dynamic startup environment
• Fast and self-learner, self-sufficient approach
• Ability to see the big picture
• Work as a team member with a positive attitude and good vibes
• Curiosity and communicative approach

Responsibilities

• Be a leading team member and function as a subject matter expert in technical areas and product components
• Design logical solutions to complex challenges for our customers who are among the most successful enterprises in the world
• Write high-quality code, covered by solid unit and integration tests
• Write code that runs on huge-scale data and improves the performance of the system
• Drive technological and architectural decisions
• Review the design and code for other team members
• Cooperate with R&D teams across the globe

Preferred Qualifications

• BigData – Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, H-base, Yarn, Impala), SparkSQL
• Knowledge in container technology (Docker and Kubernetes) and cloud services (IaaS, PaaS)
