Summary

Join Capio Group, a California-based IT consulting firm, as a Software Engineer! This full-time, remote position offers a salary between $120,000 and $135,000. You will support client staff in implementing and maintaining the Continuum-EHR solution, ensuring data confidentiality and compliance. Responsibilities include preparing monthly and weekly status reports, developing application architecture for on-premise and cloud solutions, planning data migration, establishing an API development framework, implementing security best practices, and acting as a team lead. The role requires extensive experience in electronic data processing, C# .NET, Dynamics CRM/Power Apps, cloud migration, and a bachelor's degree in an IT-related field. Requirements

  • Within the last fifteen (15) years, must have a minimum of six (6) years of experience in electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming
  • Within the last fifteen (15) years, at least four (4) years of electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming experience must have been in a lead capacity
  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree in an IT- related or Engineering field
  • Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis
  • A copy of the degree must be provided upon request
  • Within the last fifteen (15) years, must have a minimum of six (6) years of experience C# .NET
  • Within the last fifteen (15) years, must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in any combination of Dynamics CRM and / or Power Apps programming
  • Within the last fifteen (15) years, must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience migrating from on-premises to cloud utilizing industry best practices
  • Must be able to provide a minimum of two (2) end client references (manager/supervisor level) from previous engagements performed within the last fifteen (15) years, providing services that are similar in nature and scope, and type of service

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver written Monthly Status Reports (MSR)
  • MSRs will include the following information, but not limited to: The background, scope, and purpose of services
  • A summary of the work completed during the reporting period, showing actual vs. planned
  • Highlighted tasks that are work in progress, behind schedule, adopted remediation plans, and overall impact on the project
  • The status of the overall engagement and all phases/ projects, including discussion of risks, problems encountered, solutions, and proposed solutions
  • The tasks expected to be completed in the next reporting period
  • Ad hoc reporting as required
  • Present and deliver written and verbal weekly/regular status reports that include an Overview of upcoming activities

  • Corrective action planning
  • Plan, develop, and implement an overall application architecture for both on-premise and cloud solutions, including online transactions, online analytical processing, data warehousing, data lakes, and monitoring and notification tools
  • Plan, develop, and implement data migration solutions for moving data from an on-premises environment to a cloud environment
  • Establish a framework for API / Service-based development by creating and maintaining a technical playbook for developers based on API, Service, and Event-Driven architecture
  • Design and implement security best practices
  • Provide ability to audit the data processes
  • Implement data protection in regard to Protected Health Information (PHI)
  • Act as a Team Lead and coach Team Members on implementing best practices for software development
  • Prepare and deliver all documents and artifacts required for client staff to perform Agile Methodology and Enterprise Architecture
  • The artifacts should Include the following: Knowledge Transfer Plan
  • Training Materials for Trainers and Staff
  • Facilitated “Show and Tell” Sessions
  • Hands-On Collaboration Sessions
  • Peer Reviews
  • Advisory Support
  • Develop and submit a Final Report
  • The report shall detail Contract activities, accomplishments, a budget summary, lessons learned, and suggestions for improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Within the last fifteen (15) years, at least three (3) years Data protection and security best practices including understanding of Protected Health Information (PHI)
  • Within the last fifteen (15) years, at least three (3) years’ experience with Integration toolsets and APIs
  • Within the last fifteen (15) years, at least five (5) years’ experience in any combination listed below: Leading Technical Teams in programming application solutions
  • And / Or
  • Coaching and Training within the adopted cloud solutions and consulting/peer current on-premises framework
  • Within the last fifteen (15) years, minimum of two (2) or more years of experience in EHR  (Electronic Health Record) integration
  • Within the last fifteen (15) years, at least three (3) years’ experience in Azure Cloud experience
