Software Engineer

Summary

Join Cryptio as a Software Engineer and contribute to the development of finance/accounting products within a talented team. You will work on a core SaaS product, developing new features, maintaining existing ones, and addressing technical debt. This high-impact role focuses on back-office and reporting for businesses using cryptocurrencies. The position offers the opportunity to solve complex financial challenges in the crypto space, implementing sophisticated features and systems. Cryptio uses a modern tech stack including TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes on AWS. The role is fully remote with occasional visits to hubs in Paris, London, or New York.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience writing software
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript
• Comfortable working with PostgreSQL (or another relational database)
• Comfortable working with the Node.js ecosystem
• Impeccable spoken and written English
• Excellent communication, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Thriving when working with others

Responsibilities

• Write production-grade TypeScript code
• Implement new features and maintain existing ones
• Document and test your code
• Work closely with product teams to ensure new features meet user needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Some experience with the key TypeScript dependencies we are using: Nest.js, Slonik, Zod
• Some experience with key tools we are using: Docker, Gitlab, Grafana stack
• Infra: AWS, S3, Kubernetes
