Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Software Engineer in the Infrastructure team at DataVisor. The role involves managing deployments, automating processes, scaling systems, and optimizing costs across multiple cloud providers. Experience with AWS or other cloud service providers, Linux environment, Java, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, and networking is required. Remote work is also an option.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience with infrastructure software engineering or production system operation experiences
• 2+ years experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud service providers
• Strong understanding of the Linux environment and systems configurations
• Experience with Java and Python
• Experience with Kubernetes, docker
• Has basic knowledge about networking

Responsibilities

• Manage releases and deployments to a global, multi-cloud footprint
• Automate code deployment and infrastructure management process
• Scale to real-time responses with huge client datasets
• Optimize the way jobs run across multiple cloud providers globally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Apache Spark, Cassandra, Flink
• Experience with Grafana, Loki, ELK
