Summary

As a Software Engineer (PHP), you'll contribute to both legacy systems and new development efforts as the platform modernizes and enhances. The platform was originally built on PHP 5.3, has since been upgraded to PHP 7.4, and is migrating to PHP 8. This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of technologies and help guide the platform's continued evolution.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience with PHP and JavaScript
  • Basic understanding of web development concepts
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Support QA and act as a bridge between QA and the Lead Engineer
  • Implement minor bug fixes and changes based on QA feedback
  • Assist with internal data input processes
  • Learn and grow within a supportive team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases
  • Exposure to working in a remote development team
