Software Engineer

Summary

Join Eurofins Forensic Services (EFS) as a Software Engineer and contribute to a transformative roadmap across UK and European Forensics divisions. Work remotely with flexibility to attend Birmingham and Tamworth meetups. Collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners to design and implement technical solutions. Develop front-end SPAs with Blazor and .NET Core APIs with C#. Utilize Entity Framework and contribute to team documentation. This role requires a full software development life cycle understanding within an agile team and experience building sustainable APIs and front-end SPAs. Security clearance (five years continuous UK residency) and drug/alcohol testing are required.

Requirements

• As a full stack software engineer, you’ll have experience of the full software development life cycle in an agile team including story estimation, planning and grooming a product backlog
• Technically you should have practical experience building sustainable, scalable, and well-documented APIs and front-end SPA framework experience
• You should also have a good working knowledge of the tools to do the job such as Azure DevOps , Visual Studio , GIT Source control and SQL Server Management Studio / Azure Data Studio

Preferred Qualifications

• Continuous Integration and Deployment using Azure DevOps
• Experience with Hangfire, RabbitMQ, MongoDB
• Use of Test Driven Development and writing Unit Tests
