Remote Software Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Software Engineer in Hungary to maintain and enhance our innovative Travel Risk Management and SaaS-based Critical Event Management platforms. Built on a robust .NET stack, these platforms are designed to process critical event and travel data, provide powerful visualizations, and enable global communication to safeguard lives during emergencies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing in a .NET full-stack environment
• 2+ years of experience building scalable web applications with .NET Core, ASP.NET , and MS SQL Server (or similar technologies)
• Proficiency in front-end development using JavaScript or JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React)
• Strong background in writing scalable multi-threaded web applications and services
• Familiarity with DevOps automation tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, etc
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize platform and customer configurations for optimal performance
• Participate in routine system maintenance and software defect resolution efforts
• Collaborate closely with a team of skilled full-stack developers to deliver high-impact solutions
• Develop using cutting-edge web technologies such as C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Implement modern platform technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS to ensure scalability and reliability
• Participate actively in sprint planning sessions to contribute to project timelines and deliverables
• Drive innovation by implementing new features and capabilities within our platforms
• Foster collaboration across engineering teams, championing best practices and continuous improvement
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning new skills and technologies to stay ahead in the field
