Software Engineer

Summary

Join the Money Remittance Team at IDT Corporation as an experienced Tech Lead C#/.NET Software Engineer. Work with a team of professionals on a fast-growing money transfer product used by millions. Your primary responsibility will be back-end and web portal development for money transfers. You will participate in the full software development life cycle, collaborate with stakeholders, and work on innovative features and bug fixes within a Scrum team. Requirements

• Have Experience in the full cycle of development from implementation to prod deployment and support
• Have Deep knowledge and 5+ years of production experience with C# (.NET, MVC, .NET Core)
• Have Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Have Experience with Kubernetes
• Have Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases like Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar
• Have Experience with Kafka
• Have Good level of English – B2 or higher

Responsibilities

• Participate in money transfer back-end and web portal development
• Work on new innovative features and bug fixes in a Scrum Team
• Take responsibility for the full software development life-cycle
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and be a part of the product development team
• Demonstrate your technology-agnostic positive attitude with the ability to learn and desire to implement solutions using various technologies
• Work on high-performing, mission-critical, scalable, and resilient web-based applications and services
• Drive aggressive technical debt reduction in close collaboration with developers and automation test engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Have Experience in building scalable and highly-available system architectures
• Have Basic knowledge of Angular/React and LESS/SCSS
• Have Hands-on experience with Linux as the target platform
• Have Experience in Docker development and deployment workflows
• Have Knowledge of Jenkins administration for build and deployment automation
• Have Experience in designing and maintaining complex systems
• Have Experience in production usage of any ML technologies and MLOps
