Summary
Join impact.com as a Software Engineer and contribute to the development and maintenance of their leading partnership management platform. You will design and develop features, build APIs, troubleshoot issues, and participate in a continuously improving agile team. Responsibilities include securely designing and developing features, modules, and services; building APIs; troubleshooting issues; and writing and maintaining automated tests. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of professional Java programming skills, experience with Spring and Hibernate, and experience building production-grade APIs using REST. Requirements
- 3+ years of professional Java programming skills
- Experience working in a professional programming organization
- Experience building production-grade APIs using REST
- Experience with building Java applications using Spring and Hibernate
- Experience using common development tools like Git & Docker
- Relational database skills, preferably with hands on experience in MySQL
- An understanding of the SDLC
- A drive to learn and share new things
- The ability to quickly learn new systems and domains
Responsibilities
- Securely design and develop features, modules, and services
- Build APIs using a public API first mindset
- Troubleshoot issues before they spoil your weekend
- Be part of a continuously improving, agile team
- Monitor and support production systems
- Write and maintain automated tests
Preferred Qualifications
- Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA
- Familiarity with event streaming platforms like Kafka
- Familiarity with microservices/microfrontend environments
- Familiarity with building Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products
