Summary

The role involves assisting in the design and implementation of features for NewsBreak products at large scale, helping with content processing and delivery, optimizing distributed backend services performance, and collaborating with machine learning experts to build infrastructure for ML systems. Requirements

• BS with 2 year+ working experience or MS in Computer Science or related fields
• Experience with software development processes including: source control, bug tracking and design documentation
• Proficiency in Java/C++, object-oriented programming, and component-oriented architecture

Responsibilities

• Assist the architecting, designing, and implementing of features for various NewsBreak products at massive scale with data-driven iteration
• Help with the definition and implementation of content processing, management and delivery process of both User generated content and Platform generated content
• Improve recommendation user experience by optimizing distributed backend services performance and focus on both scale and reliability
• Collaborate with Machine Learning Experts to build infrastructures to support state-of-the-art Machine Learning systems including Ranking, NLP and Computer Vision
