Summary

Lime is seeking an experienced Engineering Director to lead its Supply Engineering organization. The candidate will be responsible for setting technical direction, managing teams of engineers, developing engineering best practices, providing technical guidance, mentoring team members, and overseeing the design, development, testing, and deployment of high-quality customer-facing products.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as an individual contributor
  • 4+ years leading teams as an engineering manager, and at least 2+ years as a manager of managers
  • Relevant technical experience in at least one of the following areas: consumer-facing mobile application, product backend business logic, machine learning systems

Responsibilities

  • Define the long-term technical roadmap and strategic vision
  • Lead and manage multiple teams of talented engineers to deliver on key business objectives
  • Develop and implement engineering best practices and processes to drive quality, scalability, and innovation
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to support their growth and development
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve product development and delivery
  • Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of high-quality customer-facing products
