Software Engineer

Summary

Join Venafi as a Senior Level Software Engineer and help protect the world from cybercriminals by improving and protecting their software. Collaborate with a dedicated team to identify better ways to build cutting-edge technology, work cross functionally with Customer Support Engineers, and contribute your ideas.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience programming and debugging
• BS (CS, CSE, or equivalent) or equivalent work experience
• Experience writing .Net Framework Code (C#)
• Experience developing with MS SQL Server
• Understanding of x509 certificates
• Understanding of asymmetric and symmetric encryption
• Ability to write clean, consistent, and well documented code
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Imagine, write, and test the core product to make it better for customers
• Work cross functionally with Customer Support Engineers in identifying, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for Venafi’s customers
• Collaborate within a team to develop, manage and execute on the overall project plan and timelines for key deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with modern UI frameworks, e.g. JavaScript, React, etc
