Summary

Join Wider Circle as a skilled full-stack developer with expertise in Go, React, and Next.js. You will contribute to architecting, developing, and optimizing high-performance, member-facing applications. This role requires 3-5 years of experience building scalable solutions and a strong understanding of backend and frontend development. Experience with SMS integration (Twilio) and mobile development is a plus. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms (GCP/AWS) is also beneficial. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on meaningful projects.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of full-stack development experience
  • Proficiency in Go for backend development
  • Experience with React and Next.js for frontend applications
  • Strong understanding of scalable system architecture and complex web applications
  • Experience developing member-facing solutions with a focus on performance and usability
  • Familiarity with SMS and voice services using Twilio for messaging and notifications
  • Understanding of database design, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience integrating third-party tools via RESTful APIs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both collaboratively within a team environment, and individually and self-sufficiently on coding and architecture tasks
  • Experience working in a fully remote, distributed environment
  • Familiarity with scrum, agile, and iterative processes
  • Submit a GitHub or Bitbucket repository or provide coding samples of completed projects along with their resumes

Responsibilities

  • Support existing products deployed in the production environment
  • Design and implement bug fixes and improvements for current products
  • Migrate products to new languages and environments
  • Research, pilot, and integrate third-party solutions into the product suite
  • Work with Product and Engineering management to scope and execute items on the product roadmap, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Participate in the complete software development lifecycle from requirement definitions to deployment
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, translating them into working features and products
  • Collaborate with the lead architect and other developers on system design and architecture
  • Work in an agile environment, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and close coordination with squad leads

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with NodeJS and TypeScript
  • Knowledge of React Native, Android and iOS for mobile app development
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST) and healthcare data
